MONEYMAKER
The Moneymaker Effect
In 2003, Chris Moneymaker changed poker forever when he turned a $39 online satellite into a World Series of Poker Main Event victory worth $2.5 million.
His incredible journey proved that anyone with a dream and an opportunity could compete on poker’s biggest stage, inspiring millions of players and helping ignite the worldwide poker boom.
Today, that same spirit lives on through the Moneymaker Tour. We’re carrying the Moneymaker Effect forward by creating new opportunities for the next generation of poker players.
Fueling the poker boom

From local poker rooms to international casino destinations, the Moneymaker Tour is bringing players together through exciting poker festivals, major guarantees, and unforgettable experiences. As we expand across the United States and beyond, we're building relationships with premier venues and poker communities around the world, connecting players to new destinations and bigger opportunities. PUB POKER Events
For many players, poker doesn’t start in a casino, it starts at a local bar, brewery, or neighborhood hangout. Our Pub Poker events are designed to introduce new players to the game in a fun, low-pressure environment. These grassroots experiences create a natural pathway from casual play to tournament poker, helping grow the game from the ground up. It’s belief, built one hand at a time.
Moneymaker ladies
Moneymaker Ladies is an initiative we started to encourage more women in poker.
Poker builds confidence, teaches discipline, sharpens decision-making, and connects you with a community of like-minded women. It’s more than just cards, it’s a skill set that carries into every part of life.
Our goal is to create more opportunities for women to show up, feel welcome, and experience everything this game has to offer.
