Event 1 of the 2023 Moneymaker Tour at Palm Beach Kennel Club was a $500 Buy-in NLH Mystery Bounty tournament. The unique and popular concept began in Las Vegas and found its way to South Florida for the first time. The event drew 781 entries over 8 flights creating a prize pool of $331,925. $214,775 of the prize pool was paid out to the 99 Day 2 players and $117,150 to the mystery bounties ranging from $300 to $15,000!
Every bounty pull from the box created an electric vibe in the room and local Matt Firestone (pictured above) pulled the first of two $15,000 big bounties!
In the end, South Florida resident Jimmy Tomblin and Zach Desiderio agreed to a heads-up deal with Jimmy receiving $53,824, the coveted Moneymaker trophy and new Faded Spade setup!
